PARCServer was designed specifically for the storage of vital manufacturing data. The highly optimized architecture allows for efficient storage and retrieval of even the densest data. PARCServer’s design was based on specifications of the OPC Foundation providing a scalable, flexible and easy to deploy solution. These combined factors deliver a low total cost of ownership solution with minimal maintenance.
PARCHistory is a highly optimized “clustered index” historian capable of storing data with sub-second resolution. All data types are supported, including strings and arrays. In addition to raw data, averages (daily and hourly) are calculated for all tags with no configuration. Incremental backups and maintenance are a snap due to the file based architecture.
Worried about disk space? PARCHistory’s unique spanning ability allows data to be distributed across multiple servers. As one hard drive fills up older files can be automatically moved to a legacy server. Disk space is inexpensive, so why compromise your valuable data.
PARCI/O data collectors were designed with a flexible architecture allowing field tested “out of the box” interfaces to be plugged in automatically. In addition, our engineers have years of experience designing custom solutions for those unique or legacy systems.
PARCI/O can be located on a central “collector PC” or can be distributed to minimize network failure points. A store and forward design ensures data is never lost.

Server Calculations:
The server calculations feature allows easy to design calculations regardless of complexity. By leveraging Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), building calculations is identical to an Excel macro. Server calculations are computed real-time and stored in PARCHistory for efficient retrieval
User “Add Hoc” Calculations:
The user calculations combine the familiarity of Visual Basic with drag and drop design to allow easy generation of on the fly calculations. The calculations can easily be saved for access by all users.
A data historian is only beneficial when all pieces are working properly. To ensure optimal availability and integrity PARCMonitor provides real-time monitoring of all critical interfaces. With little configuration key persons can be notified by email or page if any piece should stop functioning.
PARCview's easy to use process graphics provide all plant personnel with a pictorial view of the process from any PC in the plant accessing live and historical data on the graphics displays. When used
in conjunction with WebPARC, remote users can view process graphics from anywhere using the internet.
Designed for communication between operators, engineers and managers, Capstone's Logbook module provides the ease and flexibility of control room paper logbooks with the benefits of electronic information. Remove
the hassle of flipping through pages of logbook entries, consolidate alarm and special cause information, categorize logbook entries and drive cultural improvements on the operator floor.
