Capstone Technology's MACSProject utility is a member of the MACS family of advanced control products. MACSProject is a graphical tool for the design and tuning of multivariable controllers. An intuitive interface and common data structure with MACSModel allows point-and-click building of a controller. Graphical feedback of simulation results simplifies and speeds controller tuning and design analysis. MACSProject and the real-time MACS controller also share a common data structure. Configuration of the real-time MACS controller is accomplished by a simple file transfer. The superior decoupling and constraint handling (hard and soft) ability of MACS provides a unified approach to multivariable problems. A path is provided for control model development and history is maintained for future reference.
